IDR writes: Well, as Manolidas has asked us for our best prediction for Montmel??, I have done some work (bloody work btw) to see how are our expectations:
I have taken all the predictions except GFEHR for obvious reasons (Sorry man but I'm still wondering what sarsuela is!) and JOAN comment because, as in the most of the occasions, is off topic.
The results come from 39 predictions (from MANOLIDAS to QED), including the doubts of ANON, the wishes of PHIL H, and the clever predictions (wishes?) of HENKKA'S SON (4 YRS).
For making the ranking I have taken the equivalent points of each prediction made by the posters. (I mean, each vote for 1rst. Position is equivalent to 10 points, and so on)
And the winners are:
1) R??ikk??nen 28%
He is the most voted for 1rst and 2nd position. And thanks HEINI for showing us how to spell his name correctly.
2) Massa 21%
He has the same number of predictions for 1rst, 2nd, and 3rd position, very diffused opinion for the driver, but everybody agree on the car possibilities
3) Hamilton 14%
Has the same predictions for 1st than Masa but fewer number of votes for 2nd and 3rd positions. It seems to me that L Hamilton predictions are based on what we have been discussing here: If he starts on pole he will win the race, if not, he will be in trouble even for second or third'
4) Kovalainen 12%
Very few people believe in his possibilities for 1st (he has lower number of votes than Heifield or even Alonso for that position), but a lot of predictions for 2nd and 3rd.
5) Kubica 8%
Just in the same situation of Kovalainen but with lower number of votes in all positions.
6) Heidfield 7%
More less the same than Kubica, but with higher number of 1st positions and less 2nd and 3rd.
7) Alonso 5%
Well, thanks to the very optimistic Spanish 'barra brava' giving him 3 votes for first and 2 for Second!
The funny thing is that he finalized in the 7th position of this prediction that should be quite accurate for Montmel?? race, btw.
8) Button 2%
Thanks to some romantic fans giving him one 2nd and two 3rd positions. Again as Fernando Alonso, seems possible seeing him in the 8th position at Montmel?? (with the permission of Trulli, Rosberg, Webber')
Finally, funny to see that Rosberg and Webber have obtained the same possibilities to finish this race in the points than 'The Gorman'!
Yup, he has one vote from our colleague NICKI, CALIFORNIA USA.
A pity for Nico, I was expecting for him 6th, due to the good time he did at Montmel?? this week.
I'm still hoping to see him in the points. At the end, my predictions are quite close to this result with some minor exceptions (modesty has gone to dinner today!)

I would like to post the figures in a table with some graphs, but this blog is not very sophisticated, then sorry again for the format and my English.
